Apologies for the lateness of the meeting last month. Hopefully things will be back to normal this month. To ensure this please be sure you have read the Constitution and ByLaws and read Lorraine Cush’s email about our social so she has an idea of numbers.
Thanks to Lorraine and Jan who hit the pavements and delivered invitations to all the business in town. They advertised it as a meeting to showcase what QI Coolum Beach has achieved in the last 20 years. Please bring your copy to the Quotarian if you have finished with it so these are available for prospective members.
Lynette Holt will be giving a short talk at the beginning of our meeting so please be there on time.
Members of the QI Caloundra are travelling to the Philippines to look at Hand in Hand projects. They are looking to take as many pairs of single lens glasses as possible. Please bring these to the meeting so we can get them to Caloundra.
There are a lot of empty spots on the Chappy’s breakfast roster that need filling. Cindy has the roster sheet. It would help if three people could go as one person just interacting with the students would be good.
We are thinking of investigating a new “work” shirt and would appreciate ideas or examples that are not so hot and a new order can also be put in for “dress” shirts if you do not have one.
Remember Easter is coming up and we will be delivering eggs to the Seniors so think about it when you go shopping and maybe slip a packet of eggs in with your groceries. We will need these a.s.a.p.
Changeover will be held at the R.S.L on the 28th April and will be afternoon tea. This year your invitations will be emailed. Don’t forget to reply as soon as possible as Sandra has to get numbers into the R.S.L.
We celebrated Quota’s birthday with two cakes cut by Mary Ohmsen.
