A special presentation was acknowledged at our AGM on 9 November 2021.
Lindy Horton was given a certificate recognizing her 30 years of service to Quota and her community and we shared a lovely cake.
Lindy was teaching in Kingaroy and joined the club there and on retirement Lindy and her teacher husband moved to Coolum Beach and transferred to the Coolum Beach Quota club. Over those thirty years Lindy has been President many times plus secretary and many other roles in both Kingaroy and Coolum Beach clubs. Lindy has enjoyed the friendship and people she has met through Quota and working in the local community and loves to encourage other women to join our great club. Congratulations to Lindy on 30 years of volunteering and serving the community she is a loved member of our club
Donna Barker was recognized for her ten years of service to the community. Donna is very involved in club activities and has been on the management committee for several years. Congratulations Donna you are a very valued member of our club.
Hannah Tebbutt was recognized for her service of five years. This is Hannah’s third term as secretary and was instrumental along with past President Rae Blackney in guiding the club through all the changes that were created when we went through our recent name change. Thank you for your dedication Hannah.
