Quota Coolum Beach have supported S.T.E.M.M. for 10 years and are proud to be associated with such a successful, caring and nurturing organisation.
S.T.E.M.M – Supporting teenagers in education, mothering and mentoring.
It was truly an honour to be invited to attend the S.T.E.M.M graduation on Tuesday 23 November to witness these young women graduate with life skills and to hear that some are going on to university, TAFE and work. It was heart warming to hear knowing what these girls have suffered in their short life.
The wonderful teachers and volunteers from S.T.E.M.M have given them so much hope for the future.
President Cindy from Quota Coolum Beach presented a $500 bursary to Madison Turner who hopes to study education at Sunshine Coast University in 2022.
Cindy also presented a $500 bursary to Shani Collins who hopes to study nursing at SSCU in 2022.
Congratulations to all graduates. We wish you all the best for the future and thank you for having the courage to make a better life for your children and yourself. You are all an inspiration – WELL DONE.
