Quota Coolum Beach - Making a difference in our local community!
Quota Coolum Beach is a community-focused service organisation made up of a small, dedicated group of women from diverse backgrounds. What brings us together is a shared commitment to helping others. Through fundraising and hands-on support, we work to make life a little easier for people experiencing challenges in our local area.
Although we are fortunate to live in a beautiful region, many members of our community are unable to enjoy it as they should. Our Pop-Up Stalls help raise much-needed funds for these individuals and families. They also give our members the opportunity to come together, create handmade items, and enjoy each other's company while supporting a meaningful cause.

Our Quota History
After 12 months of harvesting community interest, a group of visionary women formed Quota International of Coolum Beach on July 1, 1995. Twenty-three members formed the new club and even before the official chartering, the group had purchased a TV for the newly established Coolum Youth Centre.
With our charter of disadvantaged youth, we mentored a programme with the Coolum Beach High School and continue to support the youth of Coolum with Rod Holt through Programme Connect. Our successful Programme Connect with the bikies and wayward youth has earned a reputation with the Sunshine Coast Juvenile Aid Bureau requesting their “first” timers be accepted on this programme with the view that they were quickly assimilate back into the education system.
Donating crochet poppies to the RSL for ANZAC and Armistice days. We assisted with selling poppies on behalf of the RSL. Purple poppies are particularly popular, representing the Australian War Animal Memorial.
After 101 years of community service around the world, Quota International dissolved. Quota International of Coolum Beach belongs to the 34th District and our members have proudly held District Office. We proudly hosted the 34th District Conference in Coolum Beach in 2005.
Our members have attended many district conferences within Australia and NZ and international conventions in Australia, the USA and Canada.
We celebrated our new club, Quota Club of Coolum Beach with a celebratory afternoon in October 2020.

One of many clubs to continue as an independent club is Coolum Beach.
After 30 years of service to the local community, we have carried our recognised name to the future as Quota Club of Coolum Beach, Inc.
From high teas and sausage sizzles to Collectorama, our famous homemade jams and pickles, and now our pop-up stalls, our fundraising efforts enable us to keep giving back and strengthening our community.
