Calling all knitters & crocheters!

Quota Club Coolum would like to create a cascade of poppies in memory of those who gave their lives for our country to display on Anzac Day 2026.

Can you help us?!

To achieve our target, we are looking for volunteer knitters and crocheters to knit and/or crochet red poppies with black centres.

The poppies will be attached to netting to create a cascade from a suitable tree, wall or building in Coolum Beach Qld - Anzac Day 2026 and onwards.

"From the moment I met this enthusiastic group of women, I knew I had found my place. It's impossible not to be inspired by their energy"
"It's so rewarding to know that all our hard work, and fun, contributes to supporting the less fortunate in our community"
"I really enjoy our craft mornings, learning something new and sharing a good cuppa and conversation"
"Joining Quota opened the door to the local community, giving me lasting friendships and a wonderful outlet for my passion for sewing and craft through fundraising"
